Parenting youth athletes is a subject I feel passionately about, combining my profession as a coach, and my history as an athlete, with my new reality of being a mom of little athletes.
I call it “coach mom,” because that is the lens I see their sport experiences through, and If we want to help our kids pursue a lifetime of athleticism, how we raise them as they experience sports at a young age, is critical. This episode covers different strategies and things to be aware of (what to do and what to definitely not do) as your kids begin their lives as athletes.
