6 Week Pregnancy & Postpartum Program

Pregnancy and Postpartum Education and Movement Series:

The education and movement series in collaboration with Brianna Battles, founder of Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism, and lululemon Thousand Oaks is intended to support the pregnant and postpartum women in our community.

We want you to feel supported and informed about the exercise and your body during these chapters. It's so hard to know what to do, what not to do and when to do it. We want to bring awareness, adjustments, and management to common symptoms women experience, such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti and other associated considerations for our changed and changing bodies. We want women to feel confident doing the exercise they enjoy by applying everything they have learned in this 6 week series. Generic info like, "listen to your body!" "do what you've always done!" or "you're cleared" is not enough info or context for where you're at right now, no matter how fit (or not!) you are!

Dates: 6 weeks starting Wednesday 25th September 2019

When: Monday's at 9:45am-10:45am**
Where: Autumo CrossFit, 862 Patriot Drive, Unit D, Moorpark, CA 93021

When: Wednesday's at 8:15am-9:00am

Meet Your Coaches


Brianna Battles

Brianna Battles is the CEO of Everyday Battles LLC and founder of the movement and education, Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism. She specializes in coaching pregnant and postpartum athletes, as well as educating coaches on how to help athletes navigate the physical and mental considerations of training during these chapters in a woman’s life. Brianna has online courses and resources for both fitness professionals and athletes and is the founder of the movement and online education, Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism. She has built an international team of coaches who are equipped to work with pregnant and postpartum athletes.

Brianna has her Master’s Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration and her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She is an active member of the NSCA where she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a USAW Sports Performance Coach.

Angie Garcia

Angie stems from an athletic background where she grew up playing many sports, but water polo ultimately became her sport of choice. She competed in Division 1 water polo at Marist college from 2006-2010, where she graduated with a degree in business marketing and psychology.  Angie then pursued personal training which she has been doing since 2011. She worked in corporate wellness for 5 years as a group fitness director, personal trainer, and global health promotion specialist at Amgen. During that time she also competed and coached CrossFit until she had her son Everett in 2017, which is when she “retired” from a normal 9-5 job and when she started working with Brianna Battles. Angie became certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach in 2018 and has been helping woman locally since.
